COS Airport Exhibit

My artwork was selected for exhibit at the Colorado Springs Airport. It is on display from January 1 through March 31, 2011.

I have received numerous calls and emails from passengers who love the photographs. There have been passengers purchasing prints - and it makes me feel good to know someone likes my artwork enough to
want to display it in their home!

The most popular piece has been "Mystique" an artistically enhanced photograph of a horse. I have included a picture here.

If you happen to be traveling through the Colorado Springs Airport - be sure to look for the exhibit!

Colorado State Fair

I entered the Colorado State Fair for the first time this year. I am happy to report that I received an award of JUROR'S CHOICE for a picture I took of a Datura Flower.
I was so excited to receive this award.

I took the picture at my friends home. She has these flowers, and she says they bloom and fade fast. She called me early one morning telling me the bloom had opened up, so I rushed over to take some pictures.

I hope you enjoy the picture.

It is called SACRED VESSEL

Missing

Sorry that I have been missing.
My friend became ill and I took care of her pretty much 24/7 until she passed on October 4th.

It is now fall and I am hoping to get back to photography.
I did get to see my grandkids for a couple of weeks in Florida, and I took a few fall pictures. I have a lot of pictures I need to go through and hope to be posting some in the near future.

I will post a few pictures of my friend Dolores.

I combined my love of photography with my love of creating jewelry. I have been working on some jewelry pieces, and have completed 2 so far and wanted to share them.

The necklace above have a photograph of a Colorado Mountain scene on one side, and a photograph of a cactus flower with artistic effect on the other side. 2 Necklaces in one :)

The second necklace is a photograph of a cactus flower I photographed in Arizona...it has a different artistic effect on each side. Also 2 necklaces in one. The necklace is made of hematite, pewter, and fresh water pearls.
Hope you like them!
